We educate Children, We understand them! Let's team up today
We’re on a mission to transform how mental health is approached in the education system. Students face various challenges in their personal journeys and stress levels among them are at an all time high. To tackle this through the right intervention at the right time looks like the perfect job for us! Our goal is to equip students with the right mindset to lead an emotionally healthy life.

Our Philosophy? Glad you asked!
Encouraging children to explore themselves
Enhancing their interpersonal skills
Equipping them to deal with emotions the right way
Encouraging children to explore themselves
We wanted to know if a schooling environment sensitive to mental health influences decisions made by parents.
And here’s what they had to say:

shall we talk numbers?
(approx.) children in India were affected by mental health issues as of 2019*

Through our services, we’ve adopted a holistic approach to mental health which enables us to view it from various stand points and lenses:
A 12 -hour Helpline
The school teachers will be trained in emotional first aid and will be taught to identify early signs of mental health disorders and flag it to us, so we can work on the treatment and prevention. We also help teachers learn appropriate responses to students who need special attention.
Modules
We develop modules for each grade which will be delivered by psychologists. These modules are built around our four principles: exploring self, interpersonal skills, dealing with emotions, understanding mental health. To further the impact, we will organize fun-filled events to reinforce the importance of mental health and our content team will send out material to teachers, students and parents for them to understand their emotions better.
One on One Consultation
All students are entitled to consultations held by a trained psychologist whether they opt for it, are referred by teachers/parents or the psychologist feels the need for the consultation. Counseling sessions will also be held for parents.
Focus Groups
Our focus groups are conducted by trained psychologists and children are allotted to these groups based on an assessment of their current needs.
Teachers Training
The school teachers will be trained in emotional first aid and will be taught to identify early signs of mental health disorders and flag it to us, so we can work on the treatment and prevention. We also help teachers learn appropriate responses to students who need special attention.

About Cadabams
For over three decades Cadabams has been pioneering mental healthcare in India. We offer consultations, hospitalization, and rehabilitation for multiple mental health disorders. Over the years we spent treating a diverse range of mental health disorders, we noticed that the root cause of a lot of these issues lay in the childhood experiences of the person. To address this and to support our mission of preventive and promotive mental health, we believe that a school mental health curriculum devised by experts and administered by them in collaboration with schools is the way forward!
